An Act to relative to shellfish aquaculture licenses.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 57 of chapter 130 of Massachusetts General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 70, the word “may” and inserting in place therefore the following:-
-“shall”.
SECTION 2. Section 58 of chapter 130 of Massachusetts General Laws is hereby amended by striking, in line 2, the following: “may be transferred” and inserting in its place the following:-
-“shall be transferable by the licensee by sale, gift, or bequest”
Section 58 of chapter 130 of Massachusetts General Laws is further amended by inserting after the words “any person”, in line 3, the words:- "or entity"
Section 58 of chapter 130 of Massachusetts General Laws is further amended by striking out, in line 7, the words: “or terms, each term not to exceed fifteen years”.
