An Act designating a certain water spray deck park within the Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Melnea A. Cass Recreation Complex in the Roxbury neighborhood of the city of Boston as the “Nakieka “Kiki” Taylor Water Deck”.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

The water spray deck attached to the Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Melnea A. Cass Recreation Complex, situated immediately to the east of the intersection of M.L.K. Jr. Blvd and Washington St, shall be designated and known as the “Nakieka “Kiki” Taylor Water Deck” in recognition of her service as a lifeguard and ensuring the safety of the children and families of Roxbury. The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing the designation around the spray deck in compliance with the standards of the department.
