An Act relative to accessibility at gas station.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the Office on Disability is hereby directed and authorized to conduct a comprehensive study to investigate accessibility to gas pumps at gas stations. Said study shall include, but not be limited to, compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act’s assistance at self-service gas station guidelines. The Office on Disability shall provide an opportunity for interested parties to submit relevant testimony. The Office on Disability shall file a report of its study, including recommendations and drafts of any legislation, if necessary, with the clerks of the Senate and House of Representatives within one year of the effective date of this act.
