An Act to improve child safety.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 97D of Chapter 41 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting the following sentence prior to the last sentence now existing in the section:

“Provided further, that nothing in this section shall be construed as to prevent law enforcement officers from making any such reports or communication accessible to investigators employed by the Department of Children and Families.”
