An Act providing for certain veteran benefits.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 33 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 189, the word “disabled”.
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, each regional transit authority established under chapter 161B the General Laws shall provide for free local transportation for veterans as such term is defined in section 7 of chapter 4 of the General Laws.
