Notwithstanding sections 2 through 12DD of chapter 112 of the General Laws, any out-of-state licensed medical personnel entering Massachusetts to assist in preparing for, responding to, mitigating the effects of, and recovering from COVID-19 shall be permitted to provide services in the same manner as provided in M.G.L c. 112 with respect to licensing and certification. Permission for any such individual rendering service is subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Public Health and shall be in effect for a period of time not to exceed 90 days after the end of the Governor’s state of emergency.
