An Act authorizing and directing the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System to permit Marilyn Rosenberg to purchase creditable service for her service at the Boston School for the Deaf.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary, the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System is hereby authorized and directed to allow Marilyn Rosenberg to purchase credit for four years of prior teaching service rendered by her at the Boston School for the Deaf by paying the amount required by G.L. c. 32, § 4(1)(p) into the annuity savings fund of the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System. Upon such payment, Ms. Rosenberg’s creditable service calculation shall be increased by the addition of this period of service.
Section 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
