An Act relative to social consumption of marijuana.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Subsection (b) of section 3 of chapter 94G of the General Laws, as most recently amended by section 25 of chapter 55 of the acts of 2017, is hereby amended by striking out the word “The” the first time it appears and inserting in place thereof the following:-

“A city or town may, through an ordinance or by-law, allow the consumption of marijuana or marijuana products on the premises where sold. If a city or town does not have an ordinance or by-law under this subsection, the”
