An Act to improve food allergy awareness.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section Section 6B of Chapter 140 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, in section (b), the following new subsection:-

(3) designate a server or other individual who is knowledgeable about the relevant issues concerning food allergies as they relate to food preparation to coordinate food service and preparation for customers with identified food allergies.
