An Act relative to elevator certificates.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 62 of Chapter 143 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended, by adding at the end thereof the following sentence:-
"Notwithstanding any general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary, it is unlawful for anyone to operate an elevator without a certificate of inspection."
