An Act relative to public safety vehicles.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 9D of Chapter 90 of the General Laws, as so appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after subsection (8) the following three subsections:-
(9) Motor vehicles operated by municipal fire departments.
(10) Ambulances as defined by Section 1 of Chapter 111C of the General Laws and licensed under the provisions of Section 6 of said chapter.
(11) Motor vehicles operated by the Department of Corrections for use during the regular duties of its officers.
