An Act relative to the retirement classification of certain Plymouth county sheriff's department employees.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding paragraph (g) of subsection (2) of section 3 of chapter 32 of the General Laws as appearing the 2016 Official Edition, or any other general or special law to the contrary, a criminal identification officer employed by the bureau of investigation in the Plymouth county sheriff's department shall be classified in Group 4 for the purposes of said chapter 32.
