An Act relative to adjusting the senior circuit breaker property valuation.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Paragraph (3) of subsection (k) of said section 6 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the numbers “$600,000” and inserting in place thereof the following:- or the average value of a single family home in the municipality as determined by the local Assessor for the previous fiscal year, whichever is greater
