An Act relative to student loan debt.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Paragraph (12) of Section 3 of Chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “college” the following words:- “or an institution offering a graduate or professional degree program”.

SECTION 2. Said paragraph (12) of Section 3 of Chapter 62, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the words “an undergraduate student” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- “a student”.

SECTION 3. Said paragraph (12) of Section 3 of Chapter 62, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the word “undergraduate”.
