An Act authorizing the town of Raynham to suspend the collection of boat excise.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding Section 2 of Chapter 60B of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the town of Raynham may suspend the collection of boat excise until such time as the cost of collecting boat excise assessments is exceeded by the annual warrant amount that would be committed by the Board of Assessors to the Collector of Taxes in said town.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
