An Act providing for a tax exemption on the sale of recycled materials.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 6 of chapter 64H of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-
(yy) Sales of tangible personal property which by weight contain greater than 70% recycled material.
SECTION 2. Section 1 shall be effective until December 31, 2021 unless extended by the legislature and signed by the governor.
