An Act supporting voluntary income tax assistance sites.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding any general or special law or regulation to the contrary and subject to appropriation, the department of revenue shall operate a program to support organizations providing tax assistance services to individuals and families qualifying for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service, for the provision of said services.
