An Act relative to public accessibility requirements.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, all properties or facilities owned by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or any political subdivision there of, including state agencies, quasi-state agencies, courts, and trial courts shall, be in compliance with all Americans with Disabilities Act regulations and requirements and any work or construction needed to make said properties and facilities compliant shall hereby be declared emergency work and prioritized in any capital planning or construction projects.
