An Act creating lysosomal storage disorders awareness week.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 6 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition is hereby amended by inserting after section 15BBBBBB the following section:-
Section 15CCCCCC. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the second week of July as Lysosomal Storage Disorders Awareness Week, to raise awareness of the 6 diseases that can cause peripheral nervous system damage and deaths in infants and young children and recommend that the week be observed in an appropriate manner by the people.
