An Act relative to net metering.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 139 of chapter 164 is hereby amended by striking out subsection (f) and inserting in place thereof the following subsection:- (f) No aggregate net metering cap shall apply to solar net metering facilities with the exception that the maximum amount of generating capacity eligible for net metering by a municipality or other governmental entity shall be 10 megawatts.
