SECTION 1. Sections 4A and 4B of chapter 89 the Massachusetts General Laws are hereby amended:
When two or more designed lanes of travel in the same direction are traveling at speeds of ten (10) miles per hour or less, an operator of a motorcycle may use and travel in the right breakdown lane or left access lane or split the lanes, at a speed no greater then twenty-five (25) miles per hour, and shall yield to disabled or emergency vehicles already occupying such lanes.

This act shall take effect upon its passage.
