An Act designating a certain bridge in the town of Needham as the Lt. Joseph R. Fandrey Memorial Bridge.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  The Highland Ave. bridge number N-04-002 located in the town of Needham shall be designated and known as The Lt. Joseph R. Fandrey Memorial Bridge in honor and recognition of Joseph Fandrey who served as a Helicopter Pilot in the United States Marine Corps. Joseph lost his life on May 10, 1996, during a training exercise in Camp Lejune, N.C. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
