An Act authorizing certain investments by the treasurer of the town of Cohasset.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the treasurer of the town of Cohasset is hereby authorized to invest any funds of the town in the custody of the treasurer in accordance with sections 3, 4, 5, 8, and 9 of chapter 203C of the General laws, as so appearing, and in accordance with the town of Cohasset cash and investment policy as the same may be amended by the town of Cohasset, acting by and through the Board of Selectmen, from time to time.

SECTION 2. Section 54 of chapter 44 of the General Laws, as so appearing, shall not apply to the town of Cohasset.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
