An Act relative to polling places in the town of Middleton.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Chapter 54, Section 24 of the General Laws is hereby amended by deleting the following language:-"...Alcoholic beverages shall not be sold in any portion of a building which is designated as a polling place, during voting hours or while ballots are being counted...", and inserting in place thereof the following language:-"...Alcoholic beverages shall not be served or consumed in that portion of a building used as a polling place, during voting hours or while ballots are being counted therein..."

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage
