An Act relative to assessment of surcharge points.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 57A(b) of chapter 6C as appearing in the 2018 official edition is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following new clause (e):- "(e) In determining any surcharge points that may result in a premium increase, and changes in safe driver credits the board shall examine the driver's driving history, and severity of accident".

SECTION 2. This act shall be effective as of October 1, 2018.
