An Act designating certain bridges in the town of Mashpee as the Private First Class Paul E. Conlon, Jr. Memorial Bridges.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The bridges identified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation as F-03-032 (45V) ST 28 Northbound and F-03-032 (45W) ST 28 Southbound spanning Massachusetts Route 28 in the town of Mashpee and shall be designated and known as the Private First Class Paul E. Conlon, Jr. Memorial Bridges, in honor of Private First Class Paul E. Conlon, Jr., a decorated hero of Operation Enduring Freedom who was killed in action in Afghanistan on August 15, 2008. The division of highways in the Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing that designation in compliance with the standards of the division.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
