An Act relative to the terms for members of the city of Somerville's Zoning Board of Appeals.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 12 of chapter 40A of the General Laws or any other general or special law, rule or regulation to the contrary, each member and associate member of the zoning board of appeals in the city of Somerville shall be appointed for a term of three years. The term of one or more members may expire in the same year. This act shall not reduce the term of any current member serving as of the effective date of this act, but shall apply to the reappointment of any such member or appointment of a successor.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
