An Act relative to appointments to city offices in the city of Gloucester.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 2-10 of the charter of the city of Gloucester, which is on file in the office of the archivist of the commonwealth, as provided in section 12 of chapter 43B of the General Laws, is hereby amended by striking out in section 2-10 (b) the following:- "No un-elected appointee shall be appointed to more than one multiple member body, unless said board or commission is inter-related" and and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:- "No un-elected appointee shall be appointed to more than two multiple member bodies."
