An Act repealing Chapter 46 of the Acts of Two Thousand and Seventeen, wherein certain parcels of land in the city of Lowell were transferred for the construction of a high school.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Chapter 46 of the Acts of Two Thousand and Seventeen is hereby repealed.

SECTION 2. All parcels of land so designated and affected by Chapter 46 of the Acts of Two-Thousand and Seventeen shall revert back to the care and custody of the City of Lowell Board of Parks for their original use as park land, open space, or recreational purposes.

SECTION 3. In submitting this legislation, the City of Lowell authorizes the City Manager to create and provide to the General Court and state agencies any and all additional information that may be necessary for passage.

SECTION 4. In submitting this legislation, the City of Lowell authorizes the General Court to make such changes in the drafting process as are necessary for passage.

SECTION 5. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
