An Act revoking the town of Longmeadow’s acceptance of a certain general law establishing a board of election commissioners.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Notwithstanding section 4B of chapter 4 of the General Laws relative to the time required for a town’s revocation of its acceptance of a general law, the town of Longmeadow shall be deemed to have revoked its acceptance of section 16A of chapter 51 of the General Laws providing for a 4-member board of election commissioners. On the effective date of this act, the town of Longmeadow shall re-establish a board of registrars which shall consist of the town clerk and 3 other persons who shall be appointed in accordance with section 15 of said chapter 51.
