Lovely for legislation relative to supporting families dealing with sudden infant death syndrome, reports recommending that the accompanying bill (Senate, No. 2590) ought to pass.

An Act relative to supporting families dealing with sudden infant death syndrome.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2A of chapter 38 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting the following paragraph:-
(h) The state and local multidisciplinary child fatality review teams shall develop printed materials containing information on support, referral, and follow-up services relating to sudden infant death syndrome, including, but not limited to, those offered by the Massachusetts center for sudden infant death syndrome located at Boston Medical Center. The teams shall develop a policy for the distribution of said written materials to the parent or guardians of a suddenly deceased infant as close to the time of the incident as possible.
