An Act relative to the Baker Hill Road District.
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to make certain changes in law in response to a public health emergency, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health and convenience.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, clause (a ½) of section 2 of chapter 41 of the acts of 1989, as amended by chapter 47 of the acts of 2018, shall not be in effect until 90 days following the conclusion of the state of emergency concerning the novel coronavirus disease outbreak declared by the governor on March 10, 2020.
