An Act to strengthen the evaluation process for proposed new charter schools.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 89 of chapter 71 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “criteria.” in line 272 the following:- These criteria shall include a study on the impact that the charter school will have on students in the district public schools.
