An Act relative to affordable assisted living facilities.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary the Department of Housing and Community Development in consultation with the Executive Office of Health and Human services shall develop a statewide master plan to increase the availability of affordable assisted living facilities, said facilities shall be for people at least 300 percent below the federal poverty line. Said master plan shall be submitted to the clerks of the house and senate, and the joint committee on housing by December 31, 2019.
