An Act relative to health insurance for human services workers.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any General or Special Law to the contrary:- The Massachusetts Council of Human Service Providers, Inc. – a Massachusetts charitable corporation – shall be allowed to aggregate its members, primarily community-based nonprofit human services organizations, for the purposes of purchasing health insurance that meets minimum creditable coverage requirements as defined by the Commonwealth Health Insurance Connector Authority under 956 CMR 5.00.
