An Act relative to archaic laws.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 39 of chapter 41 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 2. Section 94 of chapter 41 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 5 to 7, the words “They shall take due notice of and prosecute all violations of law respecting the observance of the Lord’s day, profane swearing and illegal gaming”.

SECTION 3. Section 30 of chapter 71 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 4. Section 31 of chapter 71 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 5. Section 40 of chapter 208 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 5. Section 5 of chapter 264 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 6. Section 9 of chapter 264 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 7. Section 16A of chapter 264 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 8. Section 22 of chapter 264 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 9. Section 34 of chapter 265 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 10. Section 132 of chapter 266 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 11. Section 8 of chapter 270 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 12. Section 14 of chapter 270 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 13. Section 22 of chapter 272 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 14. Section 26 of chapter 272 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 15. Section 34 of chapter 272 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 2, the words “either with mankind or”.

SECTION 16. Section 35 of chapter 272 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 17. Section 36 of chapter 272 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 18. Section 36A of chapter 272 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 19. Section 59 of chapter 272 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 20. Section 63 of chapter 272 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 21. Section 64 of chapter 272 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 22. Section 65 of chapter 272 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 23. Section 66 of chapter 272 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 24. Section 67 of chapter 272 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 25. Section 68 of chapter 272 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 26. Section 69 of chapter 272 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.

SECTION 27. Section 70 of chapter 272 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby repealed.
