An Act enhancing data transparency within the prosecutorial system.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 10 of chapter 69 of the acts of 2018 is hereby amended by striking out the sixth paragraph, beginning with the number "(15)", and inserting in place thereof the following new paragraphs:-

(15) Subsequent to data collection and reporting standards established in paragraphs 12, 13 and 14, an additional subset of data collection and reporting standards shall be established and developed for district attorney offices, criminal justice agencies of the commonwealth.

(16) The data collection and reporting standards established in paragraphs 12, 13, 14 and 15 shall be developed in consultation with the executive office of technology services and security.
