An Act establishing Building Trades Opioids Awareness Week.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 6 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 15IIIIII the following section:-
Section 15JJJJJJ. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the last full week in April as Building Trades Opioids Awareness Week to promote awareness of the dangers of opioids and substance misuse among workers in the building trades industry and facilitate discussions and events to combat the opioid epidemic and promote mental health in the commonwealth's building trades industry.
