SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general law or special law to the contrary, the City of Boston, acting by and through the Boston planning and development authority, may convey an easement for utility purposes over a portion of a certain parcel of land located in said city to Eversource Electric Company, Comcast and Verizon. This easement is identified in a document entitled "Easement for Electrical Service" and corresponding documents as entered into by the Boston planning and development authority and the utilities in question, as well as by maps attached thereto, a copy of which is to be attached and is to be recorded in the Suffolk county registry of deeds.
SECTION 2. The land in question is identified as Exhibit A to the deed to Cap Long Wharf LLC, recorded on April 23, 2015 at Book 54351, page 160 of Suffolk deeds.
SECTION 3. In consideration for and as a condition of the conveyance authorized in section 1, Eversource electric Company, Verizon and Comcast shall compensate the Boston planning and development authority an amount established by a professional appraiser for the use of this subsurface easement.
