An Act relative to retirement classification.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 3 of Chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the words "wayward children" the following words:-

“or employees of the Commonwealth and those eligible Cambridge Health Alliance/Cambridge Hospital employees whose regular and major duties require them to provide treatment for, or be responsible for, the care of persons who are mentally ill, intellectually or developmentally disabled, chronically psychologically impaired or who are persons with chronic infectious disease; or registered nurses and other health care professions that are state employees or those eligible Cambridge Health Alliance/Cambridge Hospital employees to a professional status for the purposes of their retirement.”
