An Act relative to provide tenant ownership in government assisted housing.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Chapter 186 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, will insert that Developers and Property Management Companies that receive tax incentives and subsidies in Massachusetts must have an Ownership and Senior Administration that reflects the population of the housing tenants.

SECTION 2:  Senior Property Administrators  and Owners will provide diversity goals and plans prior to receiving government grants, tax credits or any other government incentives on all public housing development and renovations.
