Chapter 94L of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following section:-
Section 9. Notwithstanding section 2 or any other general or special law to the contrary, residential and commercial property owners may regulate the cultivation of medical use marijuana purposes on or in property that the property owner owns or controls. A prohibition on cultivation of medical use marijuana, including cultivation of medical use marijuana on rental property, shall not be deemed to be discrimination on the basis of a medical condition or disability for the purposes of chapter 151B or any other general or special law.
