An Act relative to the reporting of drug overdose deaths.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 12A of Chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended in line 4 by inserting after the word “firearm,” the following words:- "or having examined or treated a person suspected of dying from injuries resulting from opiate, illegal or illicit drug overdose,".
