Subsection (c) of section 148C of chapter 149 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out paragraphs (3) and (4) and inserting in place thereof the following 3 paragraphs:-
(3) attend the employee's routine medical appointment or a routine medical appointment for the employee's child, spouse, parent, or parent of spouse;
(4) address the psychological, physical or legal effects of domestic violence as defined in subsection (g ½) of section 1 of chapter 151A, except that the definition of employee in subsection (a) will govern for purposes of this section; or
(5) care for the employee’s child when said child’s school is cancelled due to weather.
