An Act relative to per diem and part time police officers.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 91 of Chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:-
(f) Notwithstanding paragraphs (a) to (d), inclusive, a retired police officer may be employed by a police department in the capacity as a per diem or part time worker for details in excess of 960 hours.
