An Act relative to retirement benefits for June Tooley.
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith retirement benefits for June Tooley, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Notwithstanding section 60 of chapter 176 of the acts of 2011 or any other general or special law to the contrary, the state retirement board shall permit June Tooley to purchase 16 years of creditable service for $195,000.
