An Act regarding student loan payments for those working in law enforcement.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Commonwealth shall cover student loan payments for any individual who, having attained a criminal justice degree or law enforcement certificate from a Massachusetts state college, university, or community college, is currently working for a law enforcement agency, municipal police department, or the state police in the Commonwealth.
