An Act incentivizing college savings.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 3 of Chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 195, the figure “$1,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $5,000.
SECTION 2. Said section 3 of said chapter 62, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 197, the figure “$2,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $10,000.
