An Act relative to personal property tax exemptions.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 5 of Chapter 59 of the General Laws, as appearing in 2016 Official Edition, is hereby emended, by inserting after the word “body” in line 1679, the following:-
“Further, said amount determined by the town or city shall be exempted from the total assessed value of personal property subject to this chapter”.
