An Act supporting residents and communities in resolving tax debt.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. The fourth sentence of section 62A of chapter 60 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the words “25 per cent”, and inserting in place thereof the following words:- no more than 25 per cent or such lesser percentage as the ordinance or bylaw may specify.

SECTION 2. Section 1 shall go into effect upon its passage.
